Halloween

"You're doing it wrong" she said for about the tenth time in five minutes. "Its my pumpkin, and it will look the way I want it to" I turned my head and looked away lifting my chin to show how much her opinion mattered to me. " But you're doing it wrong! I don't want your ugly pumpkin next to mine." 

I look back at her sad attempt to make a Hello Kitty look alike out of the orange vegetable. Ha, and she was calling mine ugly, her's looked like Hello Kitty was in a car accident. " oh yeah? Hello Kitty looks like she could use a touch up" That set her off, her mouth opened in a gasp that never came, she looked offended, with a small pout on her face. Little sisters are too easy. 

" well!....well yours is still ugly!" the chair made loud sound being pushed back, getting off her chair she ran out. Most likely to tell on me. It's fine though I don't care. As I sat there all alone I got to work on my pumpkin. I had wanted it to look like Jack skellington, but after the struggle to get the top off I was too lazy to do anything fancy.

 The kitchen was quiet. All you could hear was the sound of my cutting, and the cold autumn wind outside. ".....do you really think I need a touch up?..." a small thin voice came from the my left side. I turned to look only to see my sisters empty seat. And her pumpkin, who's crooked eyes stared blackly at the wall.

Growing up, I've loved to draw and create. So naturally I've wanted a career where I can make something beautiful. I love to draw and color. To make my own word from what I desire. I main wish was and continues to be, to become an Illustrator. And i have a plain to get there, but i also have a plain B. My parents have always be supportive of my wishes, and encourage me to follow my dreams. But they also remind me about the importance of a back up.

Aside from drawing, I alway liked helping others. So becoming a nurse seems perfect for me. My goal is to get a BSN and work as a nurse in a hospital.

Lately I have been looking at all of my options, and even though I still want to be an Illustrator. So much more has captured my attention. I like the idea of being a speech therapist to help others communicate.I love animals, and I want to be able to help them in whatever way I can. I've always loved baking, and decorating cakes. There is just so much that I want to do and I fear I won't pick that right one. But Im still young, and I have the rest of my life to truly decide who I want to be.

My Favorite Books

My favorite Book to this day. A trilogy about an orphan boy who becomes a legend. This book is a Fantasy, my favorite genres to read. A Speculative fiction, this book is full of action and suspense. I loved every minute of it, I'd stay up late in bed with the only light coming from my phone, just so I wouldn't miss a thing. Definitely the best science fiction book I've every read, and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves Science Fiction.

The best book I read in middle school, and a conversation starter. There is no better book the fallows the lives of a pack of wolfs trying to same them selfs from Man, and fate. The sight was a great book, all 400 pages were full of mystery, and adventure. Having to carry this in my arms while walking to class people were mesmerized by the eyes of the wolf. I would definitely recommend it to anyone how loves a Speculative Fiction

This light hearted book about a young girl who loses her older sister must make a choice about who she  wants in her life. One of the only romance books I actually liked, this book was great in every way. I'd recommend this book to someone looking for a light hearted romance.

Favorite Film

Maybe the only book where the movie was better, in my opinion was Coraline. This was one of my favorite movies, I loved every second of it. Most of my friends would complain about how creepy it was, yet all I did was laugh and say I wish I was watching it right now! I always loved her hair color in the movie, and its the reason I've always wanted to to have Blue hair was well.

The book was another story, although I liked it, the only reason I read I was because I loved the movie so much. Any book lover would tell you that the book will always be superior, the way I see it Coraline is the exception.

Coraline follows the adventures of a young girl, how feels like no one understands her. When she movies to a new home way from her old friends, she feels lonely. When she finds a door that leads to a a world identical to here own yet so much better. But she soon learns its not all is cracked up to be.
